Three Linux games benefit from consistent discounts on Steam during this weekend. Dead Island, a horror first-person action game taking place on a tropical island crawling with zombies, is available for 4,99€, with a 75% discount. The offer ends Monday, March 26. Dead Island has single-player and multi-player modes.

Dead Island combines first-person action with a heavy focus on melee combat, character development and customization of a vast array of weapons. All of these gameplay features are presented in a dark story inspired by classic zombie movies with a gritty and engrossing campaign that can be played with up to four players in co-op mode.

The games in the X series which are also available for Linux include X Rebirth, X3 Terran Conflict and X3 Reunion. The games take place in a distant future, and carry the player through a huge universe.

Broken Sword is a mystery solving game, and Broken Sword 5 is the latest installment of the series, with three of the games in the franchise being available for Linux too (Broken Sword, Broken Sword 2 and Broken Sword 5). The games benefit from a 60% discount this weekend, and their prices vary between 1,59€ and 9,19€.
